Home from Seattle

Yes, they even have Coke in Seattle. And Diet Coke. We had such a good time. I'll
post more pictures tomorrow, mostly Victoria and the Butchart Gardens.
This is the Argosy Boat that took us on the locks cruise. We really loved this alot. It was
such a beautiful day and the sun was shining so we sat out on the back. It was so much
fun!!
This is Danny and Me coming back from across Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria. More about
Victoria on another blog.
What better symbol of Seattle than the Space Needle. We went to the top and actually called
Troy and Meg from up there. Technology is wonderful, isn't it?

Fun in the Yard

Here is Gabe blowing out the candles on his Sponge Bob birthday cake. It was really
cute but didn't taste very good.

We celebrated Mothers Day and Gabe's Birthday yesterday and we had so much fun. It was nice and warm but really windy. But the kids wanted to play in the water so we let them.
This was a ball sprinkler that Gabe got at his birthday party on Sat.
We had a reallly nice day. Until Eli got hold of the hose with a sprayer on the end and decided
he should spray us all. Danny and Kelli ran and of course, I just sat there and screamed. Guess
who got all wet? Yep, Happy Mothers Day Nunn!!!! He is so full of the devil. But he is so
cute, you just have to love him!! And I do!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

I just wanted to tell all you Mothers "Happy Mothers Day" I know some great mothers. And I had a really wonderful mother myself. I really miss her every Mothers Day. She taught me all the things I taught my own children. She was a really great example of motherhood to me. And I also remember my Grandma Olie. She was the greatest!! She was such a lady. She taught us all about wearing nylons, gloves, hats, heels, dresses, etc. whenever we went "to town" meaning into Salt Lake. We would always eat at the ZCMI tea room and I would always get Fish n Chips.
I really have had some great examples of mothers, including my own daughters (that includes you Kelli). You have all taught me so much, especially about love. I really don't think you understand the real concept of love until you have your own children. Thanks to all of you for being who you are!!! I love you.

Family Home Evening

You should have seen Lowell and LuVera trying to get up out of the swing.
They had been working in the garden all day and could hardly move!!!
Is this SO Danny?!

Here's Robert waiting for those frozen hamburgers to cook!
This is Noma and me just waiting for dinner. The burgers were frozen so Lowell and
Robert got them apart with a screw driver and hammer. They were yummy!!

Our FHE Group met at Robert and Noma's on Monday night. We had a barbeque in
their backyard and it was actually warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the evening.
We had a really good time and then Noma gave us a spiritual message. See we do know
how to do things other than eat!!!

Oldies but Goodies

I went to lunch Saturday with 21 of my High School "Girlfriends". We had so much fun!
We all were a few pounds overweight, some of us more than others. Most of us still dye
our hair. Vickki has pure white hair and looks 20 years older than the rest of us. Most of
us are still married to our first husbands. Two have been divorced and remarried. And
2 lost their husbands to cancer and have not remarried. Most of us have between 6 and 12
grandkids and of course, we all had pictures. Mine were the cutest!!!
We probably haven't seen each other in over 10 years and yet we all sat there and visited
with each other for 3 hours. It was like we just picked up where we left offf 10 years ago.
We also decided that as fast as we are dying off, we better meet every year from now on.
Mobid thought, huh? But 2 of our classmates died last week. Unbelievable!!
Anyway, it was a blast and I had looked forward to it all week. I forgot my camera, of
course. But just picture me times 20 with different hair, eye color, clothes, etc.
It's FHE group tonight and I will remember to take my camera.
